Judging Panel
Anthony Hackforth Chairman of the Student Judging Panel
Anthony has worked in the packaging industry from 1979 until retirement in 2005. He has been a judge of the Student Starpack competition since 2000 and chairman of the judging panel since 2005.

Tim has managed developments for Britvic soft-drink packaging and graphics for the last three years, having managed the same, previously, for Cadburys in the US, and McDonald's across Europe'
Nick Farrow
Managing Director of Farrows Design
Nick left art college in 1975 and formed his design agency (Farrows) in 1979. Since then Farrows have designed packaging for many household names including Campbells, Bhs and the Royal Household.

Annette has worked extensively in both education and industry. As a programme teacher at Swindon College she was responsible for the degree course in structural packaging design and now is a business and sponsorship manager for IOM3 and IOP: The Packaging Society. Annette is currently developing new awards and initiatives to network industry and education.

I came to the UK after gaining a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Barcelona and started working in M&S whilst I did Business Studies specialising in Marketing. I held different buying positions in Clothing and moved to the Food division 6 years ago managing first the development of packaging for the European market and later for UK. I am currently doing the Diploma in Packaging Technology through the IOP.
