Starpack Student Awards 2006
A wide range of prizes were available to packaging design students in the 2006 Student Starpack Awards, from expenses paid work experience and trips abroad to substantial cash sums and trophies. The 2006 student awards were again sponsored by high profile industry names.
Gold Star Winners 2006
Creative Metal Award, sponsored by Marks & Spencer and the MPMA, for the best cocktail pack. Two Gold Stars were awarded: Mark Heath, Swindon College; and Fabian Nyblom, Central St Martins College. Fabian was also awarded Best Overall Pack in the Student Starpack.
Cartonboard sponsored by Pro Carton, for best cartonboard pack for the CD, DVD and computer games market: Richard Dembovskis, Birmingham Institute of Art & Design; Joanne Bridge, Blackpool & The Fylde College; and Carly Snowden, Blackpool & The Fylde College.
